José Mourinho, "The Special One," chooses Hublot



Today at the Hublot Manufacture in Nyon, Switzerland, José Mourinho came to officially confirm his new role as brand ambassador for the watchmaker Hublot.
 
A keen watch enthusiast, always stylish on the touchline and away from the pitch, he joins the Hublot family alongside the Brazilian living legend Pelé, the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt, US basketball star Kobe Bryant, and the recently-crowned Olympic skiing champions Dario Cologna and Maria Höfl-Riesch, to name just the most recent additions.
In short, "The Special One" divides opinion and maintains an unwavering personality, as football loves strong characters. As does Hublot.

In Portugal, England, Italy and Spain, José Mourinho has managed the biggest clubs (FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid) and led them to victory in their national championships and cup competitions.
He has won one UEFA Cup and two Champions League titles with FC Porto (2004) and Inter Milan (2010). In 2011, he won the first ever "FIFA World Coach of the Year" award (the equivalent of the Ballon d’Or for managers) in recognition of his work during the 2009-10 season, in which he won a historic treble with Inter Milan.

He is admired world round for his character, outspokenness and sometimes even provocative nature, the Portuguese José Mourinho coaches and leads with style. A Master of Sports Law, Economics and Management from the University of Lisbon, he is considered by many to be the best tactician in the world. Following his return to Chelsea in June 2013 where he was welcomed back with a standing ovation, he broke the record for the fastest manager to achieve 100 victories in the Premier League on the 2nd February 2014 following his side's victory over Manchester City.
